Klangspuren der Nächstenliebe
Audioguide for Caritas
The audio guide was presented to the public at the station mission at Graz Central Station. Caritas Styria Deputy Director Petra Prattes built a bridge there to the audio guide, which can be downloaded to a cell phone via a web application, takes people to places where Caritas is active in Graz. In a particularly innovative way, one can get an insight into the Marienstüberl, experience the work in the Carla store or find out from residents what it is like to be in an emergency shelter.
The guide is intended to bring many people closer to places where social commitment takes place and is also aimed at school classes, company outings and people interested in social issues. Contemporary witnesses can be heard at the places presented, and personal experiences and touching stories convey the fate of people who have found help at these places. Astrid Drechsler and Fabian Kühlein were responsible for the concept and content, while me and Georg Popp carried the interviews and created the sound design for Carla and Paulinum’s tracks that are included in the audio guide.
